On Wednesday 10 March 2010, I gave this speech in Parliament urging the New South Wales and Federal Labor Government to guarantee they will not close hospitals in my electorate of Paterson. This followed media reports that 5 community hospitals in my electorate were under threat of closure because of Kevin Rudd's new hospitals plan.
