NOMINATE A PATERSON CHAMPION

Bob Baldwin, Member for Paterson has today called for nominations for this year’s Paterson Citizen of the Year Awards.

“This is an opportunity for residents to recognise that special person who has made an outstanding contribution to our local community,” said Mr Baldwin.

Residents can be nominated in one of five categories:

·         Citizen of the Year

·         Young Citizen of the Year

·         Sports Citizen of the Year

·         Young Sports Citizen of the Year

·         Corporate Citizen of the Year.

“In my travels across the Paterson electorate, I am constantly awed by the dedication and talent of local people,” said Mr Baldwin.

“These awards are a chance to honour that someone special and to celebrate their efforts, whether they be on the sports field, at work on in the community.

“I hope the awards will also inspire others to give of their time and talents.

“I would encourage anyone who thinks they know of a worthy recipient to get a copy of the form, fill it in and return it as soon as possible,” said Mr Baldwin.
