ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS

Bob Baldwin, Member for Paterson has encouraged residents to head along to local events to hear more about what he will deliver for the people of Paterson.

“While other candidates for the seat of Paterson are calling for more talk, I am out in the community listening and acting on its needs,” said Mr Baldwin.

“Local residents will vote on polling day for who will best serve their needs.

“That’s why a Coalition Government will deliver on a number of local fronts including $71 million for Paterson roads; skate parks for Wallalong and Paterson; CCTV cameras right across the electorate; better digital tv; mental health beds and more aged care places, just to name a few.

“My track record on delivering my promises speaks for itself.

“The ALP and the Greens will try to distract the voters of Paterson with personal attacks and cheap political stunts, because they want to divert the attention away from what really matters.

“For example, both the ALP and the Greens want a great big new carbon tax which willhit hard on the pocket of every voter in higher electricity, grocery and fuelbills.

“The ETS alone would have pushed power bills up by 62%.

“The ALP also wants to push ahead with Tillegra Dam, which will cause approximately $30 million damage to local roads and increase the bill for every single Hunter Water customer.

“My calendar is dictated by the community I was elected to serve and I will be at a number of events in the next two weeks with other candidates.

“Those who want to hear more about my policies and how I will deliver for the people of Paterson should head along to the following community events:

National Seniors Australia Forum,10:30am Friday 6 August at Raymond Terrace Senior Citizens Community Centre: Irrawang Street, Raymond Terrace

NRMA Roads Forum, 2:00pm Monday 9 August at Muree Golf Club: Walker Crescent, Raymond Terrace

Marine Parks Public Meeting,11:00am Saturday 14 August at Newcastle Port Stephens Gamefish Club: 57 Shoal Bay Road, Shoal Bay

SAFEEARS Public Meeting,Thursday 19 August at Raymond Terrace Bowling Club: Jacaranda Avenue, Raymond Terrace.”
